Table lamp by French designer Michel Boyer model 10524 edited by Verre Lumiere c 1972 presented and distributed in his gallery Rouve, Paris. The lamp consists of a perforated white lacquered metal base on which rests an opaline globe. Michel Boyer most famous for the design of the Bank Rothschild in Paris. As 1970 was the era of metal, the designer successfully 'tamed' it; steel was bent and curved for the famous 'x' stool. Excellent condition with no dents or loss of lacquer. Original opaline globe.
