Ingo Maurer Uchiwa II Rice Paper and Bamboo Wall Light
The Uchiwa II wall lamp by Ingo Maurer is an elegant example of 1970s design, with a structure that combines natural materials and modernity. The metal and bamboo are harmoniously combined, while the lacquered rice paper diffuser adds an oriental touch and softens the light. The shape is inspired by a Japanese fan (from which the name "Uchiwa" derives), creating a soft and diffused illumination. It is an iconic piece that blends functionality and art, typical of Maurer’s innovative design. Ingo Maurer and produced by M Design, Germany / Japan, 1970s. Original label intact.
