Wood fired ceramic vase in natural stoneware clay by Gérard Brossard, born in 1950. He trained at the École des Beaux-Arts de Bourges and specialized in ceramics under Jean and Jacqueline Lerat. A monolithic sculpture in stoneware, beige and brown glazes. Natural clay, fired, wood-fired and enhanced with the flames from the wood firing. Known for his sculptural and architectural forms, he utilizes fire to create unique textures on his clay. Brossard is recognized as a leading ceramist from La Borne. Signed.
