French designer Mathieu Mategot black painted perforated metal side chair. Many of Mategots' designs were intended for outdoor garden use thus painted and often repainted by the owners. This chair is similar in style to the period of him working in Casablanca 1953 with the angular, curved and almost hairpin form legs.
No restoration has been done to the paint. Original as purchased. Use indoors or outdoors. This chair shows the use of its owners. 26” d x 17.5” w x 31” h seat height 17”
