Mario Botta Shogun Terra Floor Lamp for Artemide, Milano, Italy in 1980s.

Mario Botta the postmodern Swiss architect and designer was renowned for his striking geometric forms. Artemide is an Italian manufacturer founded by Ernesto Gismondi and Sergio Mazza in 1960. The design of the lamp is based upon the form of a samurai’s visor. The perforated white enameled steel sheet shade is adjustable, which creates a great light or shadow effect. The Shogun Terra floor lamp is out of production. Measures: W 12.5 in, H 86.5 in, D 12.5 in. Lighting: the lamp takes one Edison E27 base screw bulb with 250w to the max. Condition: great vintage condition. No damages.
